And then there were four

by Adric Antfarm on November 20, 2009

While the violent mob (that is me there in the back with a pitchfork) accounts for the majority opinion in the Xstreet Freestyle Fiasco Fubar Fuck-up, there is another side.  You know, like the guys I've ridiculed as a weak toe testing the water by asking his users (you know who you are bitch) and an over-thinker who will wonder the lounge of concepts and ideas long after we've gone home with the girl.

Both points of view share one quality.  There are respectful of the other side.  Both points fail for perhaps that reason (and for being clueless).

While it is clear we aren't going to agree on the issue at hand, one blogger gets my respect for giving his honest opinion and then some.  To those who say they will leave Xstreet due to this?

- if you bail now, good for me

Honesty is near a rare quality as being a man and speaking your peace.  Also,  we are coming from different worlds here.  I wanted to share some army division shirts on Xstreet at no cost and I find it a load of steaming shit I should pay to do that.  The blogger is said to be part (if not the head) of the throne cartel.    For him to be a shitty capitalist would be kind of counterproductive.  There is no sin in the American ideal of making a buck.  There is sin in punishing low moving items as crap since I can assure you more people read romance novels than James Joyce.   Should we tax his work so the popular crap of others has more leg room?

Even with the clear areas of difference,  I liked this article.   Therefore, this 20th day of November in the year of our Lord 2009, I order by royal decree that Ari Blackthorne join Eggy and Hobbes as a Knight of Antfarm.  Please step forward and take you place in the seat.   Hobbes doesn't really fit so it's cool.

in the end, I never had faith in xsl once I first laid my eyes upon it, I figured, it was so much as anything else, but now, everyone has to pay, is the general direction of things. Ok, fine, if they wish to play it that way, I will sell my land and give up my xsl listings. No big deal, it hurts but I know I have no business in putting up money first when I am almost 100% certain that it will not only not pay for itself, but like the health care so called reform, only encourages people to be lazy, stupid and corrupt and yet continue to be paid for absolutely nothing. If it suits the insurance companies which place huge clauses upon who they can insure, and then how much the deductable is, certainly it must be a good thing, um right?
well it isn't. I got snowglobe working, but still the same bug, with the curser, so it seems I can't bring up a decent full screen anylonger.. I finally changed my virtual clothes to that of an impish raggedy thing, but with the full grown female body, as I tend to dress like that IRL. no Seriously, if it hadn't been for the smarter footwear, it would have been like twins.. and my virtual clothing no longer is smelly after several weeks of wearing the same old blue thing. I think I may have to burn it, sell my land and become a hobo!

I never had a ton of faith, but I hate shopping and it was handy.

I have removed all my items.

I do need to see a picture of the homeless look.

You are starting to sound like me on health care. I knew I would wear you down. I do that to women and you can’t divorce since we are not married.

I'm glad there's a case to be made that this is a good thing!  I hardly every use the Street thing myself; inworld shopping is fun.  And in general I like messy chaotic things, so making it less messy and chaotic isn't necessarily a good thing from my point of view.  :)  But still, it's nice to hear it makes sense to someone…

Well, a case from one side. People who make bank.

People like me who want to share things, maybe not. There does not seem to be a place at the table for us.

I have my own table on my land, but there is no way I will ever get the notice of veterans as I did before. I had a lot of people get free items like this shirt for free and I know that is over. For Linden to kick what I suspect is mainly vets in the balls so they can instead have people sale them shirts is something I cannot and will not forgive.
