Tip of the day

I love AC3D.

Working with the three simple shapes, I can get a lot of things in world, but say I want something really cool and complicated?

Well, AC3D says try this if I want ANY model.

For the love of FSM – do not do it.    I wanted to bring in a not so detailed object which I admit it was doing, but starting with one section of it, it proceeded to draw every little part with a series of one prim boxes.    Not even 5% into my object I was down 150 prims.     I don’t know how you are set for prims, but by my math the entire object would of clocked in over 2000 prims.

I am about to come to the conclusion if I can’t sculpt prim it,  I should do it in world.

Played with Maya, but that is a deep one.

Back in the days of Max Payne 2 MaxEd I really loved 3Dmax, but those days are long gone.
