sometimes you have to pull the plug to stop the suffering

by Adric Antfarm on July 3, 2009

In May of 2008 Linden trumpeted the opening of Bay City.    On that date in 1864 the first real taste of the pain that would be the Mexican American War was inflicted by Zachary Taylor.    The pain only intensified ending only when turf covering 7 states was  handed over for peanuts.    So, next time you bitch about illegal immigrants,  ponder that.

In Bay City on the other hand, the only ass kicking going on was that of Linden’s lily pink ass.   Their dream city to be populated by their dream people began with an auction in an ocean full of sharks and two five year olds with little floaties on their arms that really only served as a plate for the sharks who soon owned the city and had no attention of it being populated with anything but the highest bidder.

Now wait – I am on the right of this issue.  I support a free market.  If  you have a hot item you have the right to make a profit and then some.   In this case maybe asking over 10k for 512m of land which is over three or four+ times market depending on your standard.   The problem of course being this was not a free market,  this was a monopoly of sharks who were not happy with just a profit.   As you can see form the video in a few, no matter what Linden claims to have done, the situation on the ground in Bay City today is that 512m of land will run you 60k or more.

Were the land special (it’s not – very laggy) you could make a case.  Were the crowd good for your business (it”s not – noob idiot camps the Infohub never spending an L minus the one free one you can get if you wear the dumb club signs they push without any regulation by Linden of action that occurs right in front of their shiny meaningless award).

I know, you don’t go to Bay City so I could be making this up.   I could be, but I am not.    Start with our first story on May 19.

Linden’s Dream Dies Hard – 1 year, 1 day

Now, either keep reading the many Bay City stores we have (use the search tool on the main page) or prep yourself for the video by reading the out of touch view of Massively that says real estate prices in Bay City are just fine now.

Massive will buy a lot of things

Now, wrap it up with some video taken in the past 24 hours showing the real estate market in Bay City is still in shark hands.
