you ripped it out

Where is your heart?

The next time any of you asks this pointed question,  I want you to stop yourself,  do an about face, go to your cheap Acer and/or eMachine with it’s zippy fast Sempron processor and pull up this post for the answer.

That answer is you.    The collective you who has over the years in random acts of asshole taught me that it’s simply not worth my while to open my heart or wallet for your sob story, sick child, or those few bucks you need to get your car fixed because you are new in town.

Today brings yet another example.     The image below is our setting.     A group window came up with the 10L question today and I did my normal due diligence.    How long has this person been around, do they have payment info, is their profile stupid or bordering on the no-no’s (racism, homophobia, etc).

myheart

This person seemed to pass all.   Been around long enough to maybe just need it instead of being a chronic beggar,  decent profile,  and honestly it ‘s not like I wouldn’t miss 10L.

I clicked PAY.

I waited.

I waited longer.

I’m not saying 10L entitles me to someone dropping to their knees and thanking me (unless they want) but I want at the very least a few letters (a quick “THX” is fine).    Hell, a simple acknowledgment you got it?    Come over and laugh and spit on me?

I got nothing.

I would like to say I’ve learned something but I still believe you can’t punish a group of people (beggars in this case) because they have assholes in their ranks.      That would be way too much like saying all bloggers are boring hateful hacks like me.

Well, not all of them…
